Strategy Manager

About the role

Seven Media Group (SMG), one of Australia's largest media companies covering television, audio, publishing and digital, is looking for a Strategy Manager based in Sydney. The role turns big ideas into results by crafting winning responses to client briefs, pitching opportunities to new and existing clients and helping drive revenue growth. It reports directly to the National Head of Strategy & Partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth across Seven's premium content pillars, including News, Sport and Entertainment.
• Develop and pitch strategic, insight-led solutions that help clients achieve their objectives and maximise the value of Seven's TV and digital video offerings.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, agency planners and strategy teams to uncover opportunities and grow partnerships.
• Collaborate across sales, content and integration teams to create brand partnership opportunities and deliver against revenue targets.
• Leverage audience insights, research and industry expertise to influence media planning decisions and position Seven as a leading advertising partner.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, communications planning or a similar role.
• Strong media industry expertise across News, Sport and Entertainment, with a deep understanding of both broadcast and digital channels.
• Proven ability to turn client briefs into compelling strategic responses and partnership opportunities.
• Commercial acumen and a track record of driving growth and achieving business targets.
• Leadership and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with agency planning teams and influencing clients.
