Strategy & M&A Analyst – ASX-Listed Business

About the role

A global ASX-listed business based in Sydney is looking for an Analyst to join its Sydney-based Group Strategy & Valuation team. The role sits within the finance and strategy function and supports the organisation's corporate strategy and growth agenda, with exposure to strategic initiatives, valuation, investment analysis and end-to-end M&A. The business has end-to-end M&A exposure to data centres, AI and technology infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Financial modelling for investments and major acquisitions
• Maintenance of the corporate model
• Transaction and investment reviews
• Scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Preparation of materials for executive leadership and the Board
• Contribution to market, competitor and macroeconomic analysis
• Ad hoc strategic projects

Required profile

• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate advisory, Big 4 advisory or corporate finance
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capability, including DCF analysis
• Sound understanding of the three financial statements
