Strategy Director

About the role

As the Strategy Director you will become a trusted advisor to Australia’s largest drinks retailer, Endeavour Group, shaping strategic direction and integrating it into media planning and design. This role offers a chance to elevate your leadership skills while working across diverse categories and a global network.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted strategic partner to senior clients, championing their customers and identifying growth opportunities.
• Lead the development of strategic outputs including brief diagnosis, audience strategy, insights and communications frameworks.
• Collaborate with Client and Investment teams to ensure the strategic platform is carried through to the media plan.
• Lead, mentor and develop manager‑level talent, overseeing performance, development, resourcing and utilisation.
• Champion the value of strategic communications to clients and support new business pitching as required.

Required profile

• Experienced strategist with a strong interest in expanding leadership capability.
• Familiarity with large‑scale, diverse categories; experience in regulated categories is highly regarded.
• High competency in media tools and systems to derive consumer insights and trends.
• Naturally collaborative, able to bring together client, media, creative, digital, data and broader dentsu capabilities.
• Ability to work closely with Strategy Leads to identify and deliver key projects.
