Strategy Consultant – Remote (Contract)

About the role

Mercor is seeking an experienced Strategy Consultant to work remotely on a contract basis. You will review and improve existing strategy artifacts and create new consulting deliverables for AI research labs.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing strategy slides, memos, and spreadsheets, providing detailed, constructive feedback.
• Create original consulting artifacts such as case decks, executive memos, market sizing analyses, and operating‑model spreadsheets.
• Annotate and comment on artifacts to enhance structure, narrative, and presentation quality.
• Apply management‑consulting expertise to ensure deliverables are realistic and professional.
• Work independently and asynchronously, delivering high‑quality work on a flexible schedule.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in management consulting (MBB, Big‑4 strategy, boutique strategy, or in‑house corporate strategy).
• Strong slide storytelling ability and rigorous spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication.
• Self‑directed and able to deliver consistent, high‑quality work on a flexible schedule.
