Strategy and Operations Manager

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Strategy and Operations Manager to join the APR Business Impact Team (BIT) in Sydney. The role supports regional practice leaders in business development, internal management, and the implementation of global and regional processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support practice heads with day‑to‑day management, communications, and material development for regional and global meetings.
• Drive and coordinate special projects aligned to the practice’s strategic priorities, working with regional teams and global resources.
• Provide commercial effectiveness support, including client/business development assistance, RFP management, and key client account strategy.
• Represent the practice within the APR BIT, championing best‑practice processes, annual reviews, and change initiatives.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in consulting or professional services, preferably within financial services.
• Strong stakeholder management, team leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and make decisions under pressure.
• Collaborative, resilient, and execution‑focused mindset.
