Strategy and Operations Manager

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Strategy and Operations Manager to join its APR Business Impact Team in Sydney. The role supports regional practice leaders, drives business development, and ensures the implementation of global and regional processes and best practices across financial services practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support practice heads with day‑to‑day management, communications, and material development for regional and global meetings.
• Coordinate and track practice initiatives, special projects, and internal meetings, ensuring follow‑up and compliance.
• Provide commercial effectiveness support, including client development, RFP management, and key account strategy.
• Represent the practice within the APR Business Impact Team, championing process implementation and change initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance, knowledge management, and talent analytics to produce MIS reports and manage budgets.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in consulting or professional services, preferably within financial services.
• Strong stakeholder management, team leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and deliver under pressure.
• Collaborative, resilient, and execution‑focused mindset.
