Stores & Laundry Supervisor

About the role

JBS Australia is looking for an organised Stores and Laundry Supervisor to run the day-to-day operations of its on-site clothing store at the Dinmore Processing Plant, near Ipswich, Queensland. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, the supervisor ensures production workers have timely access to uniforms, PPE and workwear. The role covers inventory control, staff rostering and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels, coordinate stock ordering and replenishment, maintain accurate stock records and set up inventory controls
• Lead, train and support clothing store team members across day and night shifts, prepare rosters and ensure adequate shift coverage
• Oversee the issuing, return, laundering and storage of uniforms and PPE, ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety and workplace standards
• Work with production leaders and other stakeholders, complete shift handovers, prepare reports and identify continuous improvement opportunities

Required profile

• Previous experience in stores, inventory control, warehouse operations or uniform management
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong organisational skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving
• Flexibility to cover day and night shifts when required
• Experience in meat processing, food manufacturing or a similar regulated industry is highly regarded

• Experience with stock management systems
