Storeperson / Dispatch Operator (LF Forklift)

About the role

Wise Recruitment & Consulting is recruiting two experienced Storepersons with current LF Forklift Licences to join the Despatch team at a busy automotive parts distribution centre in Lidcombe. The role focuses on moving outgoing orders accurately and on time, with support across the wider distribution centre as needed. It suits reliable, flexible warehouse professionals who combine forklift operation with general storeperson and despatch duties. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and immediate availability is highly preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day despatch and general warehouse duties.
• Prepare, check and stage orders for despatch.
• Pick, pack and process outgoing automotive parts and accessories.
• Operate an LF forklift safely and efficiently as required.
• Load, unload and move stock within the distribution centre.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to process and track stock.
• Check orders, quantities, labels and despatch documentation for accuracy.
• Assist with receiving, put-away and stock replenishment when required.
• Report damaged stock, discrepancies or incorrect orders and maintain accurate stock movement records.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workplace and follow site procedures and WHS requirements.

Required profile

• Current Australian LF Forklift Licence and previous forklift operation experience.
• Previous experience as a Storeperson, Warehouse Operator or Dispatch Operator.
• Previous despatch and general warehouse experience.
• Experience with RF scanning and warehouse systems.
• Attention to detail, good communication and teamwork skills, and ability to work in a busy warehouse.
• Physical capability for manual handling and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Advantageous: automotive parts, spare parts, logistics or high-volume distribution experience.
