MR Truck Driver - Night Shifts

About the role

A well-established fresh produce supplier and distributor, serving retailers, wholesalers and food service providers across Australia, is hiring experienced MR and HR truck drivers through Labour Connect. The work involves multiple deliveries across the Sydney metropolitan area, including the CBD, Sydney Airport and surrounding suburbs, on consistent Monday to Friday night shifts with possible Sunday work.

Key responsibilities

• Complete about 10 to 20 deliveries per run across Sydney Metro.
• Deliver to warehouses, cafes, restaurants and airport facilities.
• Manually load and unload goods at each delivery location.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate and on schedule, and keep delivery paperwork and records.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any issues.
• Provide friendly customer service and follow road safety and workplace health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Valid MR or HR truck licence.
• Previous experience in multi-drop deliveries and confidence driving in the CBD and airport areas.
• Ability to handle goods manually, including loading and unloading.
• Experience operating automatic trucks.
• Time management, organisation, communication and customer service skills.
• Reliability, punctuality and availability for Monday to Friday night shifts (7:00pm to 3:00am) and Sunday work when required.
