Storeperson - Defence Theatre Logistics

About the role

Toll Group is expanding its Government and Defence portfolio through the Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL) contract and is looking for a Storeperson to join its Defence logistics and warehousing team at Puckapunyal Military Area, Victoria. The role supports warehouse operations, inventory control, freight handling and the safe movement of Defence-related equipment and materials. It is a Grade 2 position reporting to the Team Leader, working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Australian citizens are sought because the role requires a Government Security Clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch Defence equipment and supplies
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Use warehouse systems to manage stock accurately and act on reports
• Maintain safety standards, site cleanliness and compliance with Defence regulations
• Work under the supervision of the Team Leader to meet contractual and operational requirements

Required profile

• Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Defence security clearance (baseline level or higher)
• Valid C class driver's licence
• Willingness to work outdoors delivering stores and equipment to Defence personnel in the field
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks
• Eligible to undergo pre-employment checks including criminal history and medical assessments
• Experience in warehousing, logistics or related fields is desirable but not essential

Required skills

• Forklift licence (preferred) or willingness to obtain one
• Warehouse management system (WMS) use
• Attention to detail, teamwork and safety-first mindset
