Store Manager – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

Lead a close‑knit team at an ALDI store in Bundoora, delivering a differentiated shopping experience while meeting sales targets and ensuring operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day store operations, maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and visual merchandising.
• Manage inventory, minimise losses and ensure shelves are stocked efficiently.
• Coach, train and conduct performance reviews for team members, fostering leadership development.
• Participate on the shop floor – operating registers, stocking shelves and handling special buys as needed.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute ideas to enhance store performance.
• Interview candidates and assist the Area Manager in hiring the right talent.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading teams in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and people‑development skills.
• Ability to thrive in a goal‑oriented setting and meet or exceed targets.
• Adaptability to changing circumstances and sound decision‑making under pressure.
