Store Manager - Cockburn

About the role

Bailey Nelson is looking for a driven, people-first Store Manager to lead its brand-new Cockburn store, set to open in late November 2026. The role sits within a fast-growing business and offers the chance to lead a passionate team, deliver exceptional customer experiences and earn a stated OTE of $100,000 (base plus super, monthly and annual bonuses and a profit bonus).

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Drive sales performance and hit targets.
• Create a high-energy, positive store culture.
• Partner with the Optometrist to grow both retail and clinical success.
• Run a smooth, efficient operation without compromising service.

Required profile

• Proven store management experience in optics or retail at a senior Store Manager level (or equivalent).
• Optics experience is highly regarded; supervisory or management experience in retail, hospitality or similar is also welcomed, as the company says it is keen to teach.
• A fit for the company's values: tight-knit, down-to-earth and constantly improving.
• Passion for exceptional customer experiences and confidence in driving sales through honest, well-judged recommendations.
• High energy and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills, a commercial mindset and a drive to achieve results.
