State Trade Sales Manager (VIC West & Gippsland / TAS)

About the role

Repco is seeking an experienced State Trade Sales Manager to lead its Customer Development Team across Regional Victoria (West and Gippsland) and Tasmania. The role is hands-on leadership, working closely with the National Sales Manager to deliver the annual channel strategy, with most time spent in the field and about one day per week on administration. The aim is sustainable channel growth, higher share of wallet and strong trading margins.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire a team of field-based sales professionals, building the right team capability and structure, including coaching, development and managing underperformance
• Ensure team safety and wellbeing, including full WHS compliance
• Build strong relationships with target customers and partner with stores to deliver outcomes
• Grow customer share of wallet using multiple value levers, not just price, while achieving sales and trading margin targets
• Deliver strategic priorities set by the line manager and comply with company policies and applicable legislation
• Use Co-Driver and sales systems effectively and complete additional tasks as directed

Required profile

• Previous automotive trade field sales experience (highly regarded)
• Demonstrated team leadership experience
• Proven ability to build, coach and develop high-performing teams
• Strong commercial acumen and results-driven mindset
• Natural leader who thrives in the field and balances customer needs with commercial realities
