Staff Engineer – Agentic Solutions & Reusable Platforms

About the role

Rimini Street is looking for a Staff Engineer to lead the creation of reusable, agentic AI solutions for enterprise ERP customers. The role is remote within Australia or New Zealand and reports directly to the Group Vice President of Innovation Solution Delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify reusable components in customer builds and turn them into frameworks, libraries, integration patterns and reference implementations.
• Own reference architecture and engineering patterns for agentic solutions across SAP, Oracle E‑Business Suite and major hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Architect, prototype and production‑grade agentic AI solutions, ensuring they meet the certification governance process.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, SDLC practices and release criteria across global engineering centres.
• Mentor and pair‑program engineers, raising design and review capabilities across a largely junior team.

Required profile

• 10+ years of production software experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Deep hands‑on ERP experience in Oracle E‑Business Suite or SAP, including integration surfaces (PL/SQL, REST, ABAP, BAPI, OData, etc.).
• Experience in regulated domains such as finance, payroll, tax or e‑invoicing.
• Proven track record of converting bespoke work into reusable assets and setting engineering standards.
• Ability to lead technical direction without line authority and make quality‑risk decisions.

• SAP (ABAP, BAPI/RFC, IDoc, OData)
• Agentic AI / LLM‑based solution design (tool contracts, human‑in‑the‑loop, evaluation, guardrails)
• CI/CD, release engineering, versioning and pipeline enforcement
• Multi‑cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
