About the role
The S&S Banking Consultant assesses customers' financial needs and provides suitable banking solutions, aiming to meet sales, service and compliance targets while supporting transactional banking requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales, service and compliance targets and generate opportunities for sales specialists.
- Assess customer needs through open communication and recommend appropriate banking options.
- Process over‑the‑counter transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Promote electronic banking channels such as ATM, phone and internet banking.
- Identify and escalate risks, adhere to complaint resolution processes and maintain high data quality standards.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial or finance are desirable.
- Experience in a retail customer sales and service environment.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to build rapport and influence customers.
