Speech Pathologist – Team Leader

About the role

Lead, mentor and make a lasting impact as a Speech Pathologist Team Leader within Ability Action Australia, a leading NDIS provider. This role combines clinical practice with leadership, supporting participants and clinicians to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely speech pathology services in schools, homes and the community.
• Provide evidence‑based therapeutic interventions and set individualized treatment goals using clinical observations and standardized assessments.
• Mentor graduate and early‑career Speech Pathologists through supervision, coaching and professional development.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support clinicians with scheduling, referral allocation and workflow optimisation.
• Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Current SPA registration as a Speech Pathologist.
• Minimum three years post‑graduation experience in speech pathology.
• Demonstrated leadership capability and strong time‑management skills.
• Proactive attitude with a genuine passion for the disability sector.
