Speech Pathologist - Paediatrics

About the role

A well-established, multidisciplinary private practice with clinics across Perth is recruiting a Speech Pathologist for its growing paediatric team, in full-time or part-time capacity. The team includes psychologists, speech pathologists and occupational therapists. Candidates will work with infants through to teens using play-based, evidence-based therapy and partner closely with families. New graduates and earlier-career clinicians are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Treat children with speech sound disorders, expressive and receptive language difficulties, late talkers and non-speaking or minimally verbal children
• Provide Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
• Address feeding, mealtime and selective eating difficulties, and social communication, play and connection
• Work with children who stutter
• Support literacy

Required profile

• Degree in Speech Pathology with eligibility for Certified Practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia
• Passionate about working with children and families; paediatric placement experience highly regarded
• Client-centred, values-driven team player who builds strong relationships with families
• Current WA Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or willingness to obtain them
