Speech Pathologist

About the role

Ability Action Australia, one of the largest NDIS providers, is hiring a Speech Pathologist for its growing Mandurah team. The role suits someone who enjoys a flexible, community-based position and wants to tailor their caseload to paediatrics, adults or a mixed mix, with a mix of metro and regional work. Optional FIFO trips to Kalgoorlie, Geraldton and Port Hedland are available.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver speech pathology services in homes, schools and the local community
• Manage and prioritise your own caseload
• Complete observations and standardised assessments to set meaningful goals
• Provide evidence-based therapy that builds communication skills and independence
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes

Required profile

• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist
• Interest in pediatrics, complex needs or a preferred caseload area
• Passion for collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team
