Occupational Therapist - NDIS

About the role

Ability Action Australia, one of the largest NDIS service providers, is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its Mandurah team. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, tailoring your caseload to your strengths and interests, with the option to work with paediatrics, adults or a mixed caseload. The role offers a mix of metro and regional work, and optional FIFO opportunities to Kalgoorlie, Geraldton and Port Hedland with travel and accommodation arranged.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload aligned with your areas of interest
• Conduct clinical assessments across emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical functions
• Develop individualised, evidence-based therapy goals and interventions
• Advise on environmental modifications for homes, schools, workplaces and residential settings
• Recommend and facilitate assistive technology to promote independence
• Stay compliant with current legislation and NDIS guidelines
• Work collaboratively within a supportive, multidisciplinary team

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Interest in pediatrics, complex needs or a preferred caseload area
• Proactive, client-centred mindset and passion for the disability and community sector
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
