Speech Pathologist - Allied Health Team Leader

About the role

A leading provider of disability and rehabilitation services, established for over 200 years, is looking for a Speech Pathologist to lead its Allied Health team. You will manage a reduced adult disability caseload and work from the Penrith office to attend team meetings, see clients and collaborate with colleagues. The caseload can be tailored to your experience and preferred interest area, and full-time or four days per week is considered.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Allied Health team and ensure they deliver goal-centred care
• Work with the Allied Health General Manager to generate new referrals
• Carry out performance appraisals of staff and undertake professional development initiatives
• Assist with local recruitment and onboarding of new staff
• Manage a reduced adult disability caseload
• Service clients within a limited radius near your location

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy
• SPA membership or AHPRA registration
• 2+ years of clinical experience
• Unrestricted Australian working rights
• Driver's licence and own vehicle

• Salary package of $100,000 to $135,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience
