Speech Pathologist – Adult NDIS Clients

About the role

A non-profit organisation providing disability support services to adults with intellectual disabilities across six Melbourne campuses is hiring a Speech Pathologist. Its Blackburn North clinic serves 120+ participants daily and offers modern facilities including a hydrotherapy pool and sensory gym. The role is mostly on-site (70%) with 30% mobile work, and includes mostly NDIS clinical work alongside some research.

Key responsibilities

• Provide therapy and support to adult clients with intellectual disabilities, working with an interdisciplinary team
• Respond to referrals according to client preferences and needs
• Carry out mostly NDIS clinical work, with a smaller amount of research work
• Work alongside two other allied health professionals and receive supervision from a Therapy Manager and external discipline supervisors

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
• Minimum 1 year of postgraduate experience
• Drivers licence
• SPA membership
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia

• Salary of $85,000 - $110,000 plus superannuation depending on experience
