Special Services Representative – Failsafe Logistics

About the role

Join FedEx's Failsafe team to manage critical, time‑sensitive logistics across Australia, including donor organs, life‑saving blood products and urgent government or commercial shipments. You will be the trusted coordinator ensuring every minute counts and service failures are not an option.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver complex, time‑critical freight movements while maintaining exceptional service performance.
• Monitor consignments from collection to final delivery, proactively identifying and resolving risks.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, contract carriers and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
• Convert customer enquiries into successful bookings, supporting revenue growth and retention.
• Ensure compliance with FedEx procedures, customer requirements and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Experience in coordinating transport, logistics, customer service or operational activities.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving ability under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive mindset and creative thinking for customer challenges.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
