Logistics Manager – International Ocean Freight

About the role

We are seeking an experienced International Logistics Manager to lead our ocean freight operations, ensuring inventory moves efficiently from global vendors to our Processing Centre. This role reports to the Manager of Logistics and offers the chance to influence supply chain performance on a global scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the International Logistics – Ocean team to ensure timely movement of inventory from overseas vendors to the Processing Centre.
• Manage relationships with direct ocean carriers, NVOCCs and freight forwarders to meet service, compliance, cost and performance targets.
• Partner with Buying, Planning and cross‑functional teams to support inventory flow and business priorities.
• Monitor global ocean freight market conditions, carrier performance and capacity trends, providing insights for decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, operational efficiency and cost outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a logistics or supply‑chain leadership role managing direct ocean carriers, freight forwarders and NVOCC partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of international ocean freight operations, carrier networks, transportation markets and capacity management.
• Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams.
• Ability to analyse market intelligence and assess impacts across the supply chain.
• Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders and building effective partnerships across functions.
