Spare Parts Interpreter

About the role

Fork Force Australia, a rapidly growing forklift provider, is looking for a Spare Parts Interpreter. The role generates parts sales to internal and external customers while keeping good customer relationships, answering enquiries by counter, email or phone and interpreting customer needs into successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Answer internal and external enquiries by counter, email or phone
• Manage inventory control, including scheduling and running regular stocktakes at the main warehouse and on Field Service Technicians' vans
• Pack and ship orders and carry out general warehousing duties
• Replenish stock on Field Service Technician vans
• Provide quotes to the Service Department to help with customer repair quotes
• Build positive relationships with all customers

Required profile

• 3+ years of spare parts interpreting experience highly regarded
• Forklift industry experience is an advantage; a forklift licence is preferred but not essential
• Excellent oral and written communication and time management
• Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and meet strict deadlines
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Good mechanical skills
• Microsoft Office
• Experience with Baseplan software preferred
