Solutions Engineer - Brisbane

About the role

Redgate is looking for a Solutions Engineer in Brisbane to act as the technical expert and trusted advisor for its partners, customers and sales teams across APAC. The role shows how Redgate's products solve real problems, builds the technical confidence of the local team and supports revenue targets. It is a permanent position with an in-office expectation.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise sales opportunities with technical expertise and recommendations, before and during the customer contract, while keeping the customer experience positive
• Deliver technical presentations and software demonstrations tailored to each customer's needs
• Build rapport and encourage adoption of industry best practices
• Join face-to-face customer meetings and share insights with the wider sales team
• Present at events and webinars, and deliver technical training to the sales team
• Travel to prospects, customers and partners across APAC, including visits to the UK headquarters; occasional work outside normal hours

Required profile

• Solid experience as a Solutions Engineer in a high-tech company, or an equivalent technical role
• Commercial awareness, a customer-first approach and a genuine interest in customers' issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, in person and remotely
• Proactive, self-motivated team player who learns technical information quickly

Required skills

• Understanding of the platforms the tools run on, such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres and Visual Studio

What we offer

• Base salary of AUD 150,000 to 190,000, plus an additional 30% on target earnings
