Solution Specialist – Microsoft 365

About the role

As a Solution Specialist you will join Datacom's Information Management and Productivity Solutions team, working closely with customers across Australia and New Zealand to co‑create modern Microsoft 365 solutions that improve collaboration, information management and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand needs, translate business requirements and co‑design practical Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Design, configure, build and deploy solutions using SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Teams, OneDrive and Microsoft Purview.
• Deliver presentations, product demos and workshops, and produce solution designs, configuration guides and as‑built documentation.
• Support architectural governance, risk assessment and change‑management processes while providing responsive ongoing support.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 Copilot use‑case discovery, readiness reviews, demonstrations, workshops and basic Copilot Studio agent configuration.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of relevant technical experience in a commercial environment.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of core Microsoft 365 services and experience designing solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for administration and automation.
• Solid understanding of information‑management principles such as metadata, classification, records management and data loss prevention.
• Australian citizenship and eligibility for a Federal Government NV1 security clearance.
