Solution Architect – Energy & Utility Sector

About the role
The Solution Architect will shape and implement the technology blueprint that supports business objectives for a leading Australian energy organisation. Working closely with senior leaders and existing architects, you will define strategies, develop white‑papers and ensure non‑functional requirements are met across the program.
Key responsibilities
- Design and evolve the solution architecture to align with IT and business needs.
- Collaborate with architects and cross‑functional teams to create architecture and environment strategies.
- Produce solution white‑papers, non‑functional requirements, and technical recommendations.
- Partner with executives, senior leaders and stakeholders to drive program objectives and business case development.
- Guide system integrators in delivering architecture‑related work products.
Required profile
- 10+ years of enterprise architecture experience, preferably in a complex utility environment.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering large‑scale, multi‑layer solutions.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Field Service Management platforms, especially IFS FSM Cloud.
- Hands‑on knowledge of SAP modules (FI, CO, PM, MM, PS, IS‑U, Business Warehouse, BTP, Integration Suite, GRC, UX).
