Solicitor/Associate – Health & Sensitive Claims

About the role

Join the Health team at Hicksons| Hunt & Hunt to provide specialist legal advice to government agencies, insurers and healthcare providers on a wide range of health‑related claims, including personal injury, nervous shock and historical abuse matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients on personal injury, public liability and other sensitive claims across NSW.
• Manage a portfolio of claims, reviewing large volumes of documentation and delivering clear, timely advice.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers to develop case strategy and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in litigation or claims work.
• Experience handling personal injury, public liability or sensitive claims is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of New South Wales civil procedure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
