Solicitor / Associate – Professional & Financial Risks

About the role

Join Wotton Kearney’s Professional and Financial Risks team in Adelaide as a Solicitor or Associate. You will support clients on complex public liability, professional indemnity, D&O and construction matters, working closely with insurers and insureds across Australia and London.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on claims strategy for D&O, professional indemnity and construction policies, including multi‑party disputes.
• Defend directors and professionals in PI claims and assist with indemnity advice on government policies.
• Collaborate with London‑based and Australian insurers, providing commercial and client‑focused solutions.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Associate with experience in professional indemnity, public liability or insurance litigation.
• Strong analytical, drafting and client‑management abilities, with a pragmatic commercial approach.
• Interest in the evolving financial lines landscape and regulatory trends.

Required skills

• Excellent analytical and drafting skills for coverage advice and litigation documents.
• Strong client management and relationship‑building skills with insurers and claims managers.
