Software Engineer – Trade Platform

About the role

Join the Trade Platform team at Domain and build the core systems that power customer subscriptions, billing, product entitlements and agency integrations for a leading property marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain C#/.NET applications that manage billing, usage charging and subscription tiers.
• Implement premium product features such as listing prioritisation, promotional placements and agency booking APIs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve platform performance.

Required profile

• Commercial experience developing applications with C# and .NET.
• Proven ability to build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, design principles and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL databases and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
