Software Engineer, ServiceNow

About the role

Join ANZ’s engineering community as a Software Engineer focused on the ServiceNow platform. You will design, develop and support innovative solutions that automate banking processes, integrate systems and manage certificate life cycles. The role works in an Agile environment collaborating with infrastructure, security and application teams to deliver reliable, scalable services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall support, administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform and related modules such as Certificate Management and Discovery.
• Design and develop system integrations and workflow automations using ServiceNow’s orchestration capabilities.
• Write server‑side and client‑side JavaScript, Ajax, JSON and XML within Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts and Transform Map Scripts.
• Develop automation solutions for Certificate Life Cycle Management, including automated installation and renewal.
• Perform incident and problem management, applying fixes and driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to plan and implement automated certificate strategies.
• Contribute to platform optimisation, testing, debugging and CI/CD pipeline integration.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work across multiple teams.
