About the role

Enovis is seeking a talented Software Engineer II to join its Enabling Technologies team in Brisbane. The role focuses on surgical automation and visualization, developing high‑performance software that integrates with optical navigation systems and augmented‑reality tools to improve orthopedic procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C# and Unity applications for surgical navigation and visualization.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, clinical research, product management, and quality teams to define and deliver software requirements.
• Integrate and optimise optical navigation technologies for real‑time tracking and visualization.
• Support the creation of augmented‑reality and immersive tools for surgical planning and execution.
• Interface with hardware components such as cameras and tracking systems.
• Participate in verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with medical device standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to maintain reliability and performance.
• Document software architecture, design specifications, and testing procedures.
