Software Engineer II

About the role

Enovis is seeking a Software Engineer II to join its Enabling Technologies team in Brisbane. The role focuses on developing surgical automation and visualization software for orthopedic procedures, including navigation, machine interfaces, and augmented reality tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C# and Unity applications for surgical navigation and visualization.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, clinical research, product management, and quality teams to define software requirements.
• Integrate and optimise optical navigation technologies for real‑time tracking and visualization.
• Support the creation of augmented‑reality and immersive visualization tools for surgical planning and execution.
• Interface with hardware components such as cameras and tracking systems to enable full system functionality.
• Participate in verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with medical‑device standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to maintain reliability and performance.
• Document software architecture, design specifications, and testing procedures.
