Software Engineer – Identity & Access Management

About the role

Join ANZ’s Platform Identity and Services team to build a zero‑trust Identity and Access Management platform that secures customer access to banking services. You will work closely with business partners to design, develop, and maintain solutions that protect millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Understand existing system design and architecture and contribute to improvement discussions.
• Develop new features using Golang and gRPC, taking ownership from design through delivery.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues promptly.
• Write unit tests and automated integration tests to ensure high quality.
• Continuously optimise code for performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Participate in pull‑request reviews and incorporate feedback quickly.
• Collaborate with an agile team to support regular deliveries.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on attitude with a willingness to code daily.
• Mandatory experience in Identity and Access Management.
• Basic programming knowledge; Golang is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn new concepts and adapt quickly.
• Proactive mindset with ownership and accountability.
• Good problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
