Software Engineer – GoLang & AWS Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our Sydney team and build high‑performance backend services using Go and AWS serverless technologies. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications in Go (Golang).
• Build and support serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch and related services.
• Develop RESTful APIs and event‑driven architectures.
• Design and optimise NoSQL data models in Amazon DynamoDB.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and production issue resolution.
• Collaborate with product, QA and operations teams to ensure high‑quality delivery.

Required profile

• Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship).
• Strong commercial experience with Go (Golang).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architecture.
• Proven experience in Agile development environments.
