About the role
Leidos Australia is seeking Software Engineers and Developers to join its Intelligence support team. You will work on classified, mission‑critical systems, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver innovative software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional and cross‑domain teams to develop and support software solutions.
- Design innovative software to solve complex problems and participate in agile story mapping and estimation.
- Integrate and deploy complex systems using SecDevOps practices.
- Develop web‑focused user interfaces and evolve user experience.
- Research, prototype, investigate and develop new technologies and systems.
- Lead or contribute to customer demonstrations, engagement activities and business development responses.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (with software experience).
- Experience integrating with external systems (REST API, JSON/XML) and using open‑source technologies such as NiFi, Kafka, Elastic (ELK) Stack, Solr.
- Proficiency in Java and related open‑source frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, infrastructure as code (Ansible, Jenkins, Git) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Australian citizenship and an active TSPV/TSPA security clearance.
