Software Engineer – Cloud Native Applications

About the role

Resmed is building the next‑generation Healthcare Informatics platform and needs a Software Engineer who can deliver cloud‑native web and mobile applications. You will work with a talented team of engineers, architects, and stakeholders to create reliable, scalable, and secure solutions that improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud‑native APIs and services using Java/SpringBoot or Python/FastAPI.
• Build responsive front‑end experiences with ReactJS, HTML, and CSS.
• Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and follow team standards.
• Participate in proof‑of‑concept work, spikes, and architectural design.
• Collaborate with engineers to unblock issues and occasionally lead project components.
• Continuously improve existing systems, designs, and code quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience building APIs with Java & SpringBoot or Python & FastAPI.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless technologies.
• 2+ years of front‑end development using ReactJS.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and Agile Scrum environments.
