Platform Migration SME – Senior Engineer

About the role

Infosys is looking for a senior platform engineer to lead the migration of its internal platform from a Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE) deployment to Red Hat OpenShift. This ownership role will guide the project from design through build, testing, productization and operational hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end migration of the platform from RKE to OpenShift.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to make re‑architecture decisions.
• Stand up and configure the OpenShift environment, ensuring parity and improvements over the existing platform.
• Implement full operationalization, including monitoring and alerting.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience as a platform engineer.
• Proven ability to drive large‑scale migration projects.
• Strong collaboration skills with SMEs and architecture teams.
