Head of Technology Risk – Global Banking Client

About the role

We are seeking a senior technology risk leader to head the Technology Risk function for a global banking client. The role sits at the intersection of technology, data, risk and regulatory compliance, providing strategic oversight and hands‑on execution across a large‑scale digital banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage technology risk appetite, governance and assurance frameworks.
• Lead risk assessment, control design and remediation for emerging and legacy technology platforms.
• Engage with regulators and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant risk and data regulations.
• Drive risk culture initiatives and promote awareness of technology, data and cyber risk across the organization.
• Support safe business growth and transformation by influencing risk‑based decisions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial services technology risk, operational risk, data risk or cyber risk.
• Proven ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in a matrixed, global environment.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and scaling risk capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
