Software Engineer – AI‑Enabled Platforms

About the role

You will work directly with the Head of Software & AI on both customer‑facing products and internal tooling, building AI‑powered workflows and automation engines that drive thousands of decisions. This is a hands‑on role where you ship production‑grade features quickly and see your work used by real users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for customer and internal platforms.
• Integrate large language models and external APIs into reliable, production‑ready tools.
• Build, containerise and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Write well‑tested, maintainable code and champion solid engineering practices.
• Participate in an Agile Scrum team, planning and delivering in regular sprints.
• Collaborate with product, cloud and cybersecurity teams to turn ideas into working software.
• Contribute your own ideas and see them prototyped and released.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and shipping production software.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns and testable code.
• Confidence in a modern language (Go or Node.js preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid SQL skills, especially with PostgreSQL.
• Comfort with APIs, cloud platforms and version control.
• Daily use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) with good judgement.
• Strong testing discipline and a builder’s mindset.
