Social Media Manager

About the role

Lead the content team for one of the fastest‑growing streaming platforms, shaping strategy and tone across KICK’s global social channels. Based in Melbourne, you’ll manage a multicultural team of Content Coordinators and collaborate with design, product and partnership teams to deliver high‑impact campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Own the brand’s content strategy, output metrics and marketing calendar.
• Manage and develop five Content Coordinators covering English, Arabic, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish markets.
• Ideate, storyboard and produce hero, hub and help content for launches, trends and audience questions.
• Maintain brand reputation by applying KICK’s tone of voice consistently.
• Produce performance reports and meet service‑level agreements for broader marketing activities.

Required profile

• 5+ years managing social media for consumer brands.
• Demonstrated ability to clarify briefs, manage expectations and resolve challenges.
• Passion for online culture, either as a viewer or creator of streams.
• Respect for both the art and science of social media algorithms.

Required skills

• Strong command of the Adobe Suite, especially editing, effects, colour grading and audio mixing.
• Functional knowledge of Figma (bonus).
