Social Media & Digital Communities Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Social Media & Digital Communities Manager to shape and grow the online presence of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In this role you will create compelling content, nurture vibrant digital communities and ensure our channels deliver real value to members and future professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute engaging content and community plans across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and other platforms.
• Manage and expand online communities using best‑practice community‑management techniques.
• Produce platform‑specific assets, including video, leveraging design and editing tools.
• Monitor social conversations and emerging trends to optimise engagement and performance.
• Support paid‑social campaigns and amplify organic reach.
• Analyse performance data, generate insights and continuously improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Creative storyteller who tailors content to diverse platforms and audiences.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, evolving digital environments.
• Strong communicator able to influence stakeholders and build relationships.
• Experimental mindset, testing and optimising content to drive results.
• Passionate about building meaningful online communities.

Required skills

• Proven experience in social media strategy, digital content creation and community management.
• Deep understanding of platform algorithms, trends and engagement tactics.
• Ability to use data and insights to inform decisions.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, Canva or similar design/video tools.
