Social Media and Digital Coordinator

About the role

The Social Media and Digital Coordinator will support South Australia Police’s recruitment marketing by creating and managing digital and social content across multiple platforms. Reporting to the Recruitment Marketing Lead, you will help shape and execute campaigns that attract diverse talent to the police force.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement digital and social media strategies aligned with recruitment goals.
• Create, schedule, and optimise content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the SAPOL website.
• Manage community engagement, respond to inquiries, and monitor online sentiment.
• Analyse campaign performance using analytics tools and produce regular reports.
• Support promotion of school outreach, events, and other recruitment initiatives through targeted digital campaigns.

Required profile

• Current Australian work eligibility and willingness to undergo a criminal history check.
• Ability to work occasional out‑of‑hours and travel interstate as required.
• Participation in SAPOL’s iEngage program.

Required skills

• Experience with social media management and content creation.
• Knowledge of digital advertising, search strategy, and analytics reporting.
• Strong written communication with an inclusive approach.
