Social Media Advisor

About the role

AusNet is seeking a Social Media Advisor to lead its customer communications across digital channels, creating engaging content that supports customers during outages, severe weather, and the energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AusNet's social media channels end‑to‑end, including planning, publishing, monitoring and community engagement.
• Develop and execute campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok to drive awareness and education.
• Create video content from concept through filming, editing and publishing across digital platforms.
• Produce digital content for web, email, SMS and other customer communication channels.
• Translate technical information into clear, accessible content for customers.
• Monitor performance metrics and use insights to improve engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media platforms with content creation and community management.
• Strong video production skills, including filming and editing for digital use.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
