Social & Advocacy Brand Manager

About the role

L’Oréal Paris is seeking a Social & Advocacy Brand Manager to shape the brand’s presence across culture, social media, creators, events and earned conversation in Australia and New Zealand. The role sits at the heart of brand image and influence, driving advocacy strategies, PR campaigns and creator partnerships that build brand love and long‑term equity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute advocacy campaigns for the L’Oréal Paris Masterbrand and Makeup category, driving cultural relevance and social engagement.
• Develop creator‑first strategies, partnerships and seeding programs to position the brand at the centre of social conversation.
• Manage relationships with brand ambassadors, talent partners and creators, overseeing contracts and content collaboration.
• Identify emerging trends, creators and cultural moments, translating insights into impactful advocacy opportunities.
• Support the planning and execution of masterbrand events, advocacy activations and brand‑cause initiatives to generate earned media.
• Collaborate with PR agencies to maintain an always‑on earned media approach across campaigns and cultural opportunities.
• Integrate advocacy and paid media strategies across major campaigns, ensuring alignment across earned, owned and paid channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brand management, social media or advocacy within the beauty or consumer goods sector.
• Strong understanding of cultural trends, creator ecosystems and media landscapes in Australia/New Zealand.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with creators, ambassadors and agency partners.
• Ability to translate insights into strategic campaigns that drive brand love and relevance.
