Community Engagement Manager – AWS Data Center Communities

About the role

AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for a Community Engagement Manager to design, deliver and manage programs that strengthen relationships between AWS data centre operations and the surrounding communities in Australia. Based in Melbourne, you will work across AWS to ensure safety, security and sustainable community impact while supporting the company’s commitment to being a good neighbor.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute community engagement strategies and social impact programs for AWS data centre communities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between AWS and community members, local leaders, non‑profits and government agencies.
• Coordinate and facilitate community meetings, events, workshops and volunteer initiatives.
• Develop and maintain communication channels to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
• Track, measure and report on engagement metrics, program outcomes and community feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in public policy, government relations, community relations, public affairs or corporate social responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and influence senior‑level stakeholders.
