Skid Steer Operator

About the role

Randstad is recruiting a Skid Steer Operator in Pennington, South Australia, on a temporary full-time basis. You will operate skid steers across various sites, carry out earthmoving and civil tasks, and use your HR licence to drive heavy vehicles that move machinery, materials and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate skid steer loaders on site (civil construction, earthmoving, material handling)
• Drive HR vehicles to transport equipment, materials and site loads
• Carry out daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance on machinery
• Follow site safety procedures, traffic management plans and environmental guidelines
• Work with site supervisors, labourers and other machine operators

Required profile

• Valid Australian Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence
• Skid Steer ticket or Verification of Competency (VOC)
• 1-2+ years of experience operating skid steers in earthmoving or civil construction
• Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Reliable transportation, punctuality and ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
