Site Manager

About the role

Built is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on‑site activities for its construction projects across Australia. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards while ensuring a safe and collaborative work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and establish the site occupation, developing formal occupation plans.
• Accurately measure and monitor structural elements on a daily basis.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards and project specifications.
• Direct, mentor and manage on‑site staff, communicating variations, disputes and contractual matters to the Project Manager and Contract Administrator.
• Maintain effective communication with subcontractors, understanding trade scopes and coordinating supplied items.
• Oversee quality control procedures and implement appropriate work methods.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar construction site management role.
• Strong initiative, ability to prioritise tasks and keen attention to detail.
• Positive, hands‑on attitude with a “roll up your sleeves” approach.
• Leadership skills to motivate and guide teams toward quality outcomes.
