Site Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The company is a leading national builder delivering high‑quality fit‑out, refurbishment and light construction projects across commercial, health, education, government and hospitality sectors. They are seeking an experienced Site Manager to own major projects in Sydney, overseeing sites valued from $1‑$20M (occasionally $1‑$5M) and ensuring delivery to client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all site operations to meet programme milestones.
• Deliver fully operational facilities that meet client expectations.
• Maintain industry‑leading safety, quality and compliance standards.
• Engage with clients, consultants and subcontractors throughout delivery.
• Track progress, manage site reporting and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support and mentor junior team members to strengthen site capability.

Required profile

• Trade background and building qualification (preferred).
• Proven experience independently delivering multiple fit‑out and refurbishment projects in the tier‑two sector.
• Strong planning, sequencing and subcontractor management skills.
• Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and lead collaborative teams.
• High attention to detail across safety, systems and programme.
• Confidence using digital site management tools.
