Site Foreman – Stone & Tile

About the role

An established Melbourne stonemason and cladding specialist is seeking an experienced Site Foreman to lead stone and tile installations on residential and commercial projects. You will coordinate crews, ensure high‑quality finishes, and deliver projects safely, on time and defect‑free.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate install crews and subcontract trades on site.
• Set out and supervise stone benchtop, cladding and tile installations.
• Own quality control – check finishes, manage defects and handovers.
• Read plans and drawings, set out work and confirm site measures.
• Maintain site safety, tidiness and compliance (SWMS, White Card).
• Liaise with builders, clients and the fabrication workshop.
• Keep projects on schedule and report progress to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a foreman or leading hand in stone or tile.
• Strong knowledge of benchtop, cladding and/or tile installation.
• Ability to read plans, set out work and run site measures.
• Confident leading crews and coordinating trades on site.
• Sharp eye for finish quality, defects and handovers.
• Current White Card and a driver’s licence.
